From the same lovely and dedicated people who brought you Six Foot and Clean soap, these busy bees also produce handmade surfing wax.
West Coast Surf Wax is hand crafted on the beautiful and wild west coast of Wales. They produced their first batch back in 2007, then called Hills Organic Surf Wax, it was too expensive to produce on a small scale and so it evolved into the all natural West Coast Surf Wax.
From start to finish every bar is hand crafted on our production site, from mixing to pouring, to wrapping and packing. Every ingredient used is sustainably sourced and 100% natural, providing an organic solution to traction, whilst reducing the reliance on oil.
A small independent company, all of their products are created and tested by a team of surfers, so you know this stuffs legit!
We love these guys and everything they are doing, putting effort into a creative space and making it work. Its not easy to doing something different but it sure is rewarding. Make a change and make a difference, head over to the site to find out more and purchase this amazing product.

Artist Laurie Nouchka creates limited edition drawings and paintings that lift her designs off the canvas onto her unique range of style focused and contemporary wearable works of art.
Embedded in the heart of London, she draws inspiration from the urban landscapes around her. She travels the world for inspiration, immersing herself in each and every city. In doing so she has developed a bold and unique approach to depicting her architectural subjects.
Infused with the expertise of fashion designers, her observational drawings of iconic buildings are translated into geometric and linear forms as repeated patterns across a range of carefully designed garments. The vibrant, abstracted prints reflect the dynamic scenes of the urban landscape offset by the functional, clean lines on the collection.
She has collaborated with Equinox gyms, Kings Cross and Farmer’s Daughter Hotel asthe artist in residence to create bespoke collections in response to their unique architectural story.
All pieces are proudly printed in the UK using Italian lycra and EUROJERSEY sensitive fabrics. They are made in Wimbledon, London, and stocked in the UK, USA, Europe, Australia, Dubai, Switzerland and China. (copied from google docs)

We are honoured to be partnering with the #2minutebeachclean movement and selling their water bottles!
#2minutebeachclean is an incredible movement run by The Beach Clean Network Limited who are an non-profit charity based here in the UK. They are standing up and taking action against marine litter and plastic pollution on beaches all across the globe.
Martin Dorey founded the charity back in 2009, but the social media phenomenon that is #2minutebeachclean began in the winter of 2013/14. Since then it has exploded with support from beach and sea goers, wild life lovers and the general public all looking to make a difference in just 2 minutes of cleaning when they’re at the beach.
This wonderful charity is funded by sponsorships from beach clean stations and sales of merchandise. This is where we step in!
If you watch #2minutebeachclean’s video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YNGhAERqxLA) you will see that a staggering 38 Million plastic water bottles are thrown away in the UK each day. This is a simply mind blowing number of plastics that will take years and years to disappear, some may never even disappear. The negative impact this will have will be irreversible.
This is why #2minutebeachclean are dutifully selling these reusable stainless steel water flasks.
We, Great Venture Surf Company (GVSCo) have partnered with Martin and #2minutebeachclean and will be selling these brilliant water flask on our site here! We will also have them at our stall at The Mill Xmas Fair:
If you wish to follow #2minutebeachclean and perhaps even post you and your marine litter next time your down at the beach. You can follow their brilliant journey here:
We are very happy to announce that our collaboration with the lovely guys at Submariner has finally launched on our website.
The majority of brands we team up with are usually found via hours of trawling through Instagram but these guys were actually recommended to us by some of our most hardy surfing friends.
These guys have been around since 2012 and have built themselves a reputation for creating clothing and technical gear that will last and is fit for purpose. We also happen to think they just also look bloody cool!
The following is a brief history of their brand:
Submariner was founded on the North Devon coast in 2012, with the intention of creating practical clothes made ethically and entirely in the British Isles. From a background steeped in surfing, climbing, and windsurfing, Howard Davey drew heavily on traditional maritime influences as well as the creative input from the wider community of north Devon and Cornwall based artists.
Along this Journey, long standing friend and like minded surfer Ben Thompson joined in 2014, to become partner and co founder, and help develop Submariner to increase its offering to the wider surfing community. Today, Submariner sells through a network of local Devon and Cornwall based stockists and relies heavily on its support/feedback from the Maritime community it was setup to provide for.
We are extremely proud to have these guys as part of our community as they fit the bill to an absolute T and we hope that you will all enjoy what they are doing as much as we do.
You can check out their full range over on the GVSCo. website, so pop on over and take a look – we are sure you won’t be disappointment!
Introducing Katie Rudd an inspired crafts woman behind Salt & Silver Jewellery.
Salt & Silver Jewellery
Salt & Silver Jewellery is a small, handmade jewellery company based on the East coast of England, owned by Katie. In 2013 Katie began making jewellery as a hobby and made gifts for family and friends, the word spread quickly and in early 2014 she designed her first collection and officially set up the company and began trading.
Having always lived by the coast and having enjoyed surfing in her teenage years Katie was naturally drawn to beach style designs and still draws her inspiration from the ocean and natural environment. Her style of jewellery has a rugged and organic finish, while maintaining timeless elegance, always. Each piece has been individually designed and handmade in her home workshop, in the small coastal town of Cleethorpes. This handmade approach makes each piece entirely unique.
Passionate about protecting the world we live in and the creatures who live alongside us Katie has created most of her jewellery from recycled 925 sterling silver (Eco Silver), and has designed a collection using beautiful pieces of sea-glass and beach pottery that she has collected when scouring the beach and removing rubbish and junk that has washed up. All packaging is made from recycled paper and card, waste from her jewellery making process is minimal and any waste that is created is then melted back down to be re-used.
Things have moved quickly since the business was set up and Katie has been inundated with orders from the collection, even so she always sets time aside to create bespoke creations and custom orders, working closely with her client to create something truly special.
